After years of corporate event planning, Kara turned her love of logistics, design, and creativity toward planning travel that feels effortless. She takes the details seriously and keeps everything else fun, creating experiences that are thoughtful, stylish, and full of personality.
Kara loves laid-back luxury—stylish stays, incredible meals, and a sense of ease wherever she goes. Her travel style blends comfort and adventure, with boutique stays, hidden gems, and authentic experiences that make every trip feel elevated and effortless.
Born and raised in upstate New York Kara has always had an adventurous spirit. As a child, her family prioritized time at their family camp on Hinkley reservoir and besides a few trips to Myrtle Beach for spring break or winter trips to visit grandparents in Florida, her family didn't travel much. Kara remembers her first big trip as a cruise to San Juan, St. John, St. Thomas and St. Maarten.
All that changed when Kara went to Ithaca College for Journalism and studied abroad in London at the Ithaca College London Center in Kensington. While living in Bayswater, Kara fell in love with travel and visited 12 other countries in Europe during her time there. Since then all Kara has wanted to do is travel and has jumped on every opportunity to do so.
At this point Kara has been to 18 countries across 4 continents, including 24 states and counting. Kara often reflects on the time when her dad asked her what her dream job was and she said, "I just want to travel the world and get paid to do it".
While Kara certainly keeps herself busy planning events and trips for people and their companies, she definitely hasn't lost her desire to travel herself. Currently the top 3 dream vacations Kara has are (in no particular order) an African safari, exploring in Moab, adventuring in Banff.
